Go Green Program FAQ
The goal of Go Green is to move away from paper invoice delivery and payment methods and move toward online communication. Beginning in January 2010 Norlight, Inc. will adopt electronic invoice delivery as its standard, no-cost delivery method. Paper invoices will be available as always, but there will be an associated fee for the printing and mailing of the invoice based on the type of invoice you choose.
I have Residential services, how does "Go Green" affect me?
Beginning in January 2010 the cost to receive a paper invoice for residential customers will be $1.95.
I have Business services, how does "Go Green" affect me?
Beginning in January 2010 paper invoices for Business accounts that do not require call detail reporting will be $1.95 per month. If your business has Long Distance (LD) or VBX service and you would like to include call detail reports on your paper invoice the cost will be $9.95* per month. Business customers with LD or VBX will have the option pay the lower fee for a paper invoice by choosing the standard invoice and accessing their call detail information electronically within OAM.

What is OAM?
OAM stands for Online Account Management. In OAM you will have access to current and past invoices. You can manage your user name and password, contact email address, change your invoice delivery method and initiate electronic payments.
How do I switch to electronic invoices?
If you currently receive a paper invoice and would like to switch to electronic invoicing you will need to change your invoice preferences in OAM. To do this, go to norlight.com/OAM then click on the "Go Green" logo.
How do I create an OAM Account?
If you do not have an OAM (Online Account Management) account there are two ways to create your account.
The first option is to set up your account yourself, you can go to norlight.com/OAM and click "Enroll Here" at the bottom of the page (You will need to your account number) and fill out the simple form.
The second option is to call us at 800.599.1000 and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to help you set up your OAM account.
What about the Convenience Fee?
The "Go Green" program is replacing the Convenience Fee that some customers are currently paying. If you are currently paying the $2.95 Convenience Fee and do not choose to switch to electronic delivery you will automatically be converted to the new paper invoice delivery fee of $1.95 or $9.95* (if you have LD or VBX).

Tell me about call detail reporting.
Norlight recently released a new online call detail reporting function with in OAM. Customers with LD or VBX services can now create various call detail reports and download call detail data from with in their OAM account.
