What is Colocation?

Windstream's Data Center service provides customers the ability to house their equipment (servers and associated networking equipment) in a safe, secure, and environmentally controlled space. Space can be purchased in 1/3 cabinet, 1/2 cabinet, and full cabinet increments. Multiple AC power options are available with dual, redundant UPS and generator backup.

Located in Brookfield, WI, our 6,000 square foot facility is in one of the statistically safest regions in the US. Location safe from natural disasters and from terrorist threats.

Benefits of Data Center Colocation

• Reliability – install a system in the data center for load-sharing and enhanced reliability.
• Security – for physical security of the servers, the data center has restricted keycard and/or biometrics scanning for access to the colocation space. A NDC representative accompanies authorized visitors to their colocation space.
